Valley Press is currently closed for submissions. We read new unsolicited work in a month-long window roughly once every two years. The most recent window was in January 2026, and all enquiries during that month should now have received a reply (and a decision). The next window will be in January 2028 at the earliest. Outside of our submissions windows, we offer a consultancy service – a 90-minute meeting with our Director and Founder Jamie McGarry, either on the phone or, for those able to visit us in sunny Scarborough (or cover travel costs), in person.
