Louisa Bermingham is an artist and art teacher at Bermuda High School. She has worked for two decades teaching art in various settings on the island, from primary through college level. Her first book, featuring a scattering of words and 38 original illustrations – most created using her own hair – is titled She Was a Hairy Bear, She Was a Scary Bear, and was published by Valley Press in November 2019.
