Nick Holland is a renowned Brontë biographer whose previous books In Search of Anne Brontë and Emily Brontë: A Life in 20 Poems garnered rave reviews in publications including The Mail on Sunday and the Times Literary Supplement. He is also the author of an acclaimed biography of Guy Fawkes.
Holland first encountered the Brontës when asked to read Wuthering Heights during his first week at University; it was the beginning of a lifelong love with the writing family who have become synonymous with his native Yorkshire. In 2016 he became the first author to complete a book signing in the Brontë Parsonage Museum in Haworth, and he has since given lectures on the Brontës nationwide.
In January 2020, Valley Press published Nick's fourth book about the Brontës, Crave the Rose: Anne Brontë at 200, re-evaluating the legacy of the youngest Brontë sister on the 200th anniversary of her birth.
